I. Working principle of energy-saving tempering furnace:
1. Through the process of heating and then quenching flat glass, compressive stress is formed on the surface of the cooled glass, and tensile stress is formed inside the glass, thereby increasing the strength and turning ordinary annealed glass into tempered glass equipment.
2. Improve the strength of the glass by changing the chemical composition of the glass surface. Currently, there are methods such as surface dealkalization and alkali metal ion exchange. Because this tempering method changes the chemical composition of the glass, it is called chemical glass tempering equipment.
II. Structure of energy-saving tempering furnace:
1. The energy-saving tempering furnace is mainly composed of mechanical and electrical parts. The mechanical part is mainly composed of steel, insulation materials, ceramic rollers, and various machined parts. The electrical part mainly includes various motors that drive the equipment, high-temperature blowers, tempering blowers, various controllers, inverters, PLCs, encoders, and various electrical components in the electrical control cabinet.
III. Precautions for using energy-saving tempering furnaces:
1. When the chain, sprocket, and gear need to be adjusted, they need to be stopped before operation. It is forbidden to operate manually when the above-mentioned parts change to prevent accidents.
2. Due to reasons such as sudden power failure, computer crash, or main drive chain breakage, after the main drive stops running, the glass in the furnace needs to be manually flipped out first to keep the ceramic rollers changing and prevent the ceramic rollers from being damaged.
3. When the energy-saving tempering furnace is in the production insulation state, there is a dedicated person on duty, checking once every half hour. When the furnace body is lifted to clean the ceramic roller track, safety measures for the inserted safety pins must be taken before entering the furnace for work.
4. Before heating, the electric furnace wires and related components of the glass tempering furnace should be checked, and heating can only be started after confirmation. There is a person on duty to take care of it during the heating process.
5. The scale of the glass to be processed in the furnace should be adapted to the processing capacity of the tempering furnace. Oversized or undersized is prohibited to prevent damage. When adjusting the curvature of the glass tempering furnace, a dedicated person should command the operation to prevent misoperation from causing personal injury.
6. The main drive of the input and output platforms uses chain drive, which is simple and reliable in structure; when the furnace body and wind baffle main drive are in a power-off state, a manual emergency film release function can be provided, and an emergency power supply can also be added according to customer needs to ensure the low-speed operation of the furnace body ceramic roller track after power failure.
