Maintenance tips for glass-lid energy-saving tempering furnaces
I. Daily maintenance and care of glass-lid energy-saving tempering furnaces
(1) Clean the workbench, operating furnace, electrical cabinets, etc. of the glass energy-saving tempering furnace daily to keep the exterior clean and tidy;
(2) Check if the doors of each electrical cabinet are closed properly; check the power switches and indicator instruments of the operating cabinet for any problems;
(3) Check the function of the emergency stop button and whether the button switch is sensitive and reliable;
(4) Check if each operating indicator light, photoelectric sensor, and servo motor of the glass energy-saving tempering furnace is intact, whether there is any loosening or displacement, and whether there are any problems with the signal indication;
(5) Remove dust from the air intake and various electrical control boxes, and check if the radiator fan is working properly.
II. Maintenance of components of glass-lid energy-saving tempering furnaces
(1) Clean ceramic rollers on time: Ceramic roller contamination will affect the optical effect of the tempered glass and easily cause cracking in the heat treatment furnace. Clean the dirt, broken glass, and surface attachments in the ceramic rollers in time to make the surface of the ceramic rollers smooth and wipe off the dust with a clean towel.
(2) Lubrication: Regularly check and add lubrication to the bearings of the main rotating shaft and ceramic roller track of the energy-saving tempering furnace. Generally, check once every six months.
(3) Main drive device: Check the main chain every day. Loosen the small screws of the main drive system and the base, then tighten the small screws to the appropriate position to tighten the drive chain, and then tighten the connecting screws.
(4) Replacement of heating elements: Regularly maintain the heating wires. If damage is found, repair them in time. Damage to the heating wires may cause uneven temperature in the furnace, resulting in the heating temperature of the glass in the furnace not reaching the required temperature or uneven temperature, causing the glass to crack, damaging the ceramic roller track in the furnace, and reducing output.
(5) Replacement of thermocouples: Check the working status of the thermocouples every day. If problems are found, replace them regularly and mark their positions to prevent wiring errors.
What are the methods for cleaning the lid tempering furnace?
During machine operation, when stains, black spots, or roller marks appear on the back surface of the tempered glass, the tempered glass cooling furnace needs to be cooled, the heat treatment furnace opened, and the ceramic roller track cleaned. Then close the furnace and raise the temperature. When the temperature rises to a temperature suitable for heating and tempering glass in a small tempering furnace, production can resume.
When cleaning ceramic rollers, cleaning should be carried out according to the actual situation. When using a small tempering furnace, the main cause of the stains should be checked first before cleaning. If the surface of the ceramic roller track is white but not smooth, it is mainly caused by glass powder or other debris sticking to the edge of the ceramic roller track.
When cleaning the lid tempering furnace, first use a vacuum cleaner to clean the rollers. Then use sandpaper to polish the glass powder in the ceramic roller track until the porcelain surface is smooth. Then wipe with a wet cloth. When wiping, move diagonally to both sides.
