Therefore, during the daily production process of the tempering furnace, the following aspects should be considered to reduce the impact of timely ceramic rollers on the glass tempering furnace:
First, introduce gas into the heating furnace of the tempering furnace
Convection tempering furnace manufacturers believe that introducing gas into the heating furnace helps protect the surface condition of the glass and rollers, but the amount of SO2 gas should be strictly controlled. If too much SO2 gas is added, sodium sulfate agglomeration is likely to occur on the roller surface, leading to quality problems such as transparent small pits on the glass surface. However, if the air volume is too small, the roller cannot form a protective film on the surface in a short time, thus preventing production. Generally, after heating for 1-2 hours, rubbing the roller surface with waste glass can reduce glass scratches and meet the production requirements of general glass.
Second, adjust the tempering furnace process parameters
1. Appropriately reduce the furnace temperature. Convection tempering furnace manufacturers believe that increasing the heating time is because the tempering process requires maintaining the glass heated to a certain temperature. This adjustment can only be made on the premise of meeting the tempering process and cannot be adjusted significantly.
2. Reduce the line speed of the glass in the furnace. Convection tempering furnace manufacturers believe that when the glass is heated, it constantly moves back and forth, often during acceleration and deceleration. Reducing the line speed can correspondingly reduce the acceleration of the glass, reduce the friction and slippage between the glass and the roller due to inertia, and thus reduce the surface scratches of the glass. However, the line speed should not be reduced too much to avoid glass deformation and affect the flatness of the glass.
Third, other matters needing attention:
1. Convection tempering furnace manufacturers believe that heating up after the tempering furnace cools down will damage the glass surface, and the roller needs to be rubbed with glass again, which wastes manpower and material resources and reduces production efficiency. It is recommended to maintain continuous production as much as possible and reduce shutdown operations.
2. During the production process, due to the continuous introduction of a large amount of gas, sodium sulfate agglomeration is likely to occur on the roller surface. When transparent pits appear on the glass surface, the furnace should be stopped and the roller track cleaned immediately.
3. Because the surface of embossed glass is uneven, it damages the roller surface to a certain extent. It is recommended not to temper embossed glass as much as possible. If tempering is necessary, the roller track should be wiped with glass again after tempering.
4. Convection tempering furnace manufacturers believe that each time the ceramic roller of the glass tempering furnace is cleaned, the oil stains on the bearing surface and the outer shell should be cleaned at the same time to ensure that all rollers are on the same plane and reduce the positional deviation between the rollers.
